The Nexa QFlow system is a significant new workflow for the VHH.
For employees to be able to access the Nexa QFlow system and follow the expected workflow, the Nexa QFlow Active Directory Group needs to be added to their Monash Health IT Active Directory Profile by Information Technology. Managers need to submit a request for each of their team members by following the steps provided below.
There are two Nexa QFlow Profile Groups; managers need to include the relevant profile group in the Nexa Active Directory request for each employee – either Clinical or Administration (Clerical):
- Clinical
-
- Nurses
- Doctors
- Allied Health
- Clinical Trials
- Cardiac Physiologists
- Diagnostic Imaging
- All others not in Clerical/Administrative roles
- Administration (Clerical)
- Non-clinical employees
What you need to do before requesting Nexa QFlow access for your team members:
- Employees must complete the VHH EMR eLearning via Latte and attend the relevant SimLab before their access to NEXA QFlow is requested.
- Managers must ensure all of their team members have completed both EMR Foundations and VHH EMR training for their speciality area. Managers can refer to the EMR VHH Training Completion QRG for assistance with tracking their team’s EMR training completions.
Process for requesting Nexa QFlow access
Managers can submit a request for access for their team members by logging a ticket on Central to request the Nexa QFlow.
Make sure you include the Nexa QFlow Profile Group in the request, either:
- Clinical, or
- Administration (Clerical)
If you have any questions regarding giving your team members Nexa QFlow access or their training requirements, please contact EMRtraining@monashhealth.org
How to access Nexa QFlow
When access has been provisioned, individual users will be able to see the Nexa QFlow icon on their desktop and can log in that way. Alternatively they can access Nexa QFlow from the Clinical Portal on the Monash Health intranet. Details can be found here.
