Congratulations to the Intake and Brief Team of SECASA, who are our ‘Exceptional Teamwork’ STAR Award winners.
The award recognises outstanding teamwork qualities that build an inclusive, high-performing culture, and put quality and kindness at the heart of everything we do.
SECASA is the South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault, and the Intake and Brief team accept and process over a 1000 calls per month, giving expert advice regarding sexual assault and family violence.
The Intake team have also introduced Brief Treatment sessions for survivors of sexual assault.
Key to their success in responding to these calls is the Intake and Brief Team’s exceptional teamwork. The team considers the needs of their clients at every step, and work creatively to be responsive and to meet those needs.
The SECASA Intake are leading the way within the SASSFV sector and continue to consider evidenced based practice in all they do.
