Celebrating the STAR Awards winners for Q3

Last week at the employee forum, we heard from our final STAR Awards winner for 2021. The STAR Awards are a great opportunity for employees to say thank you and acknowledge the important work of their colleagues.  

If you would like to nominate an individual or team for a particular achievement or contribution they have made, complete a nomination through the STAR Awards portal here. 

Nominations for the Q4 STAR Awards are now open and will close on Friday 31 December.

In Pursuit of Excellence – Amy Morris, Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist. 

Outstanding Care or Service Delivery – Tayn Martindale, Registered nurse who works on 3A Forest at Monash Children’s Hospital. 

Excellent Experiences – Janette Briscoe, Wellbeing Assistant at Chestnut Gardens. 

Exceptional Teamwork – Sacha Purvis, Nurse Unit Manager in our COVID-19 Vaccination Workforce. 

Excellence in Research, Teaching and Innovation – Silvana Pignataro, Assistant Deputy Director of Pharmacy for Kingston Pharmacy Department. 

Improving Care and Access – Matt Woronczak, Clinician, Emergency Department, Dandenong Hospital. 

Managing Wisely – LED Replacement Program, Monash Medical Centre.

Excellence in Occupational health, safety and wellbeing – Monash Medical Centre Emergency Department Wellbeing Group, Danielle Jackson and Benjamin Cheung.
