World Mental Health Day is celebrated on 10 October every year, and this year’s theme is awareness, belonging and connection. To commemorate the day, Brad will lead an important panel discussion with Felicity and Sammy focusing on having conversations about mental health and taking actions to look after your overall health and wellbeing.
Introducing Brad McEwan
Brad is a former Network 10 presenter and journalist, and a current Beyond Blue Ambassador. Brad is a mental health advocate working towards improving mental health awareness, conversation, and action.

Felicity is a multi-award winning comedian actor and writer, and has spoken at length in her stand-up and personally about her struggles with mental health, including presenting the documentary ‘Felicity’s mental mission’.

Sammy J is an award-winning comedian, author and musician, and currently hosts the breakfast show on ABC Radio Melbourne and creates weekly comical sketches for ABC TV. Through his work, Sammy J covers several topics including current affairs, politics, and mental health tips.

You can register online for a Mental Health Australia Wellbeing Calendar.
The Calendar includes a short reflection or task you can do every day this month to look after your mental health and wellbeing. You’ll also have access to resources and helpful tips to continue to introduce wellbeing into your daily routine.
