M365 Project Update – Microsoft Teams is Live

M365 is going live across Monash Health, and with it comes one of its most powerful business technology applications: Microsoft Teams.

The great news is that all Monash Health employees now have access to Microsoft Teams.

Accessing Teams

Here’s how you can access Teams:

  • A Monash Health desktop computer or laptop – if the shortcut doesn’t appear on your desktop, use the search bar and type in “Teams” to find the application.
  • Online via your web browserMicrosoft Teams is available using this link. While Teams will work on most browsers, we recommend you use either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
  • On your mobile device
    • Google Android: On your Android device, go to Google Play to download and install the Microsoft Teams app
    • Apple iOS: On your Apple iOS device, go to the App Store to download and install the Microsoft Teams app.

Features

Use Teams for:

  • Individual and team chat
  • Meetings
  • Collaboration – share information, celebrate successes, and manage documents

Recently, Teams has been used as a key technology during Virtual Care ward rounds, and several areas have begun using Teams in their day-to-day work.
