M365 is going live across Monash Health, and with it comes one of its most powerful business technology applications: Microsoft Teams.
The great news is that all Monash Health employees now have access to Microsoft Teams.
Accessing Teams
Here’s how you can access Teams:
- A Monash Health desktop computer or laptop – if the shortcut doesn’t appear on your desktop, use the search bar and type in “Teams” to find the application.
- Online via your web browser – Microsoft Teams is available using this link. While Teams will work on most browsers, we recommend you use either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
- On your mobile device –
- Google Android: On your Android device, go to Google Play to download and install the Microsoft Teams app
- Apple iOS: On your Apple iOS device, go to the App Store to download and install the Microsoft Teams app.
Features
Use Teams for:
- Individual and team chat
- Meetings
- Collaboration – share information, celebrate successes, and manage documents
Recently, Teams has been used as a key technology during Virtual Care ward rounds, and several areas have begun using Teams in their day-to-day work.
