Find out how you can assist with vaccine research

Are you interested in progressing vaccine research? Are you curious about how you can be involved?

Monash Infectious Diseases’ study team has established a vaccine research registry where you can register your details to hear about upcoming vaccine research. The registry is open to employees, patients, and the wider community.

Once registered, you will periodically receive information about upcoming trials for which you may be eligible. All participation is optional, and you are free to withdraw from the registry at any time. Non-participation will not affect any clinical care you may be receiving at Monash Health.

Participating in a vaccine trial can see you play an active role in contributing to better medical outcomes for everyone. In recent years, vaccine trials have been pivotal in the adoption of many vaccines such as flu and COVID. Clinical trials play an important role in the development of potential vaccines and guide researchers to achieve safe and effective vaccines.

Vaccine trials are held at Monash Clayton, and usually require four-to-five onsite appointments for each participant. Participants are supported during the trial as necessary, such as with the provision of carpark and meal vouchers.

Take the survey in this link to register your interest, or scan the QR code below. The study team may send you information about potential studies based on the information you provide in the survey.

Your information will be held on the secure Helix health data platform at Monash University and will not be shared with any other organisations outside of Monash Health.

You must be over 18 to complete the survey, however you may complete the survey on behalf of your child.

If you have any questions or would like more information about the registry, feel free to contact the study team at jessica.o’bryan@monashhealth.org.
