It’s time to enrol your HSRs in their annual HSR training

All elected Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) play a major role in making our workplace safer.  

Monash Health HSRs can request to complete training to provide them with the appropriate skills and knowledge to help make our workplace safer.  

As a manager, you are required to allow HSRs to attend this training: 

• one HSR initial OHS training course after being elected (five-day course), or 
• one HSR refresher OHS annual training course (one-day course)  

How do I support my HSR? 

To help your HSR enrol in the training courses, visit the Safety intranet page then: 

• access the HSR Training Calendar 2024 to see available courses, 
• complete the HSR Training Application Form with your HSR, and 
• return the form to safety@monashhealth.org 

A member of our OHS team will then contact you and the HSR to confirm the booking.
