The Nursing & Midwifery Education and Strategy (NaMES) team is pleased to announce the opening of scholarship applications for students commencing eligible postgraduate courses in Semester 1 2024.
The Postgraduate Scholarships for Nurses and Midwives are funded by the Department of Health, administered by Monash Health in line with a strict eligibility criteria.
The initiative aims to upskill and nurture the next generation of nurses and midwives, particularly in areas where there’s a recognised workforce need.
The value of the scholarship provided to each eligible nurse and midwife will depend on the participant’s out-of-pocket costs for course fees. Please note that recipients will likely pay tax on their scholarship.
If you are embarking on postgraduate studies in 2024, have secured a position in your area of specialty and meet the eligibility criteria – apply now!
The deadline for applications is Sunday, 18 February, so don’t miss your change to propel your career forward and contribute to the advancement of nursing and midwifery.
Please be mindful that late applications will NOT be considered.
We will notify applicants of their scholarship application outcome in May 2024.

- Complete the Monash Health 2024 Postgraduate Scholarship Application Form.
- Email your supporting documentation (evidence of enrolment and course invoice) to scholarships@monashhealth.org.
