All Clayton sites – it’s EMR training time!

On Monday 5 August, the EMR will hit another key milestone as face-to-face training starts for our Monash Medical Centre, Monash Children’s Hospital and Jessie McPherson Private Hospital employees.

Training for our Clayton sites’ employees will run from 5 August to 4 October 2019.

If you haven’t already done so, now is the time to begin your EMR learning journey.

First step: make sure to complete your e-Learning prior to your face-to-face training. Find out how here.

Your e-Learning is made up of a series of short videos and quizzes you can complete during work hours, in multiple sittings (your progress is saved as you go). The videos build, one-by-one, into a robust program to support your learning.

Remember to take regular breaks and complete your e-Learning in sections to give you time to absorb the material.

There’s a lot of new information to learn, but as you attend training and familiarisation activities there’ll be many opportunities to practise and ask questions, so you’ve got this!

If you are already booked into training, we’ve prepared housekeeping information for you for Kingston, Dandenong and Clayton sites.

Please speak to your manager if you are not booked into training. Details can be found here for them to book via LATTE.

Top tip: Unless you’re going to be a Super User, you need to be booked into ‘EMR End User Classroom’ training, NOT ‘EMR Super User Classroom’ or ‘EMR Training Assistant’ training.

We are excited for our Clayton trainees and wish you all the best as you train for success. If you or your manager have any queries regarding your training please contact the EMR Training Team.
