A reminder to drop in to our Paws the Pressure Webex session tomorrow as Elvis enters the virtual building with a variety of therapy dogs to bring puppy fun to the workplace.
Starting from 11.30am, you can meet many therapy dogs over five 30-minute sessions. These dogs work a variety of jobs bringing joy and comfort to employees, hospital patients and nursing home residents.
Like all dogs, Delta Dogs also love their downtime, and will entertain you with tricks and puppy play – a reward for all the valuable work they do.
Session schedule
You can catch Elvis at the midday session, or drop in at any of the following times to meet other Delta Therapy Dogs and their owners:
11.30am – 2.00pm
- Meet Elizabeth and her Greyhound Freddie Mercury. Elizabeth will MC the sessions and introduce the Delta dogs.
11.30am
- Lyndell & Pinot – Pinot joined the ranks as a digital therapy dog entertaining universities and workplaces.
- Suzanne & Balthazar – “Mr B” has participated in student therapy sessions and digital sessions, and loves running around on his farm.
- Johanna & Penny – Penny is a regular at an aged care facility and assists in online therapy dog sessions.
- Tracey (Delta Staff) & Carnaby (Tracey’s EA) – Not an official Delta Dog, but Carnaby works closely with the Delta team.
12.00pm
- Tiffany & Moosie – Moosie visits an aged care facility and regularly joins digital sessions. She also loves the beach!
- Judy & Elvis – Elvis is well-known at his hospital placements, and university and workplace visits in Melbourne. He loves playing with his ball and going for walks.
12.30pm
- Trish, Ralph & Misty, Milly, Abby, Ruby – The Newcastle crew – Misty, Milly, Abby and Ruby – visit with students and sick kids. They love running on the beach!
1.00pm
- Liz & Jessie – Jessie is a long-time friend to residents in the dementia unit of a nursing home. Jessie has been doing digital sessions for two years and loves her treats and pats.
1.30pm
- Suzanne and Balthazar – Balthazar loves his online sessions so much he will be attending two sessions in one day!
- Nathan (Delta Staff) & Neesha (Nathan’s EA) – Neesha is not a Delta Dog, but she is a cutie, and wherever Nathan is – Neesha is!
