Healthy eating – Digital Wellbeing Series spotlight

Food and mood go hand in hand. A diet that’s low in processed sugar and high in wholefoods can lead to better health outcomes, including lower rates of anxiety and depression.

September’s edition of the Digital Wellbeing series teaches us about the best foods to eat for health and wellbeing, and links to some great resources to help us build healthy eating habits.

Available for all our employees, the Digital Wellbeing Series by the Resilience Project includes ten 3-minute videos covering topics including mindfulness, emotional literacy, and social connection.

Each month we will put the spotlight on a different topic and share new strategies you can introduce into your daily routine to prioritise your health and mental wellbeing.

Access the Digital Wellbeing series

To access the Digital Wellbeing Series and to watch the video on ‘Healthy eating’, log in to LATTE and search ‘The Resilience Project’ under the ‘Find Learning’ tab.

To learn more about The Resilience Project, visit their website. For more information, resources and log in details for the Digital Wellbeing Series, visit the Monash Health COVID-19 employee website. Keep an eye out for next month’s spotlight, where the topic is ‘Exercise’.

You can access all 10 topics of the Digital Wellbeing Series. However, the monthly spotlights aim to help you focus on one topic at a time. To make new lasting habits, it is important to start small, add in one change at a time and to remain consistent. If you feel more comfortable, you can complete all modules in your own time.
