Get ready for End of Financial Year

The last day of the financial year is Thursday, and the payroll team will start processing the End of Financial Year on Friday 30 June 2023.

This requires us to close the Chris21 (Payroll) and HR21 (Employee Self Service) systems while we process our payment data.

What you need to know

There will be no access to Chris21 (Payroll) and HR21 (Employee Self Service) at the following times:

  • Friday 30 June: from 8am – 8pm
  • Monday 3 July: 8am – 12pm

Please note: All variations applicable for N Pay Run ending 2 July 2023 need to be approved no later than Wednesday 28 June 2023.

Payroll Team assistance during the outage

The Payroll phone line will be open as normal from 9am to 4pm (8572 5605 –  Option 1) to answer general queries over the phone. Tickets will be lodged on your behalf if the team require access to these systems.

Please note the following information will be unavailable

  • Payroll will have no ability to process any missing pays (Out of Cycle Payment)
  • Payroll will have no ability to view or generate a payslips

End of Financial Year – Frequently Asked Questions:

Do I still get a physical payment summary?

No, all payroll information is lodged digitally with the ATO.

How do I access my wages for the year?

Employees can access their end-of-year income statements through their personal myGov account or via their accountant.

How will I know I can lodge my tax return?

Once Monash Health has processed the STP finalisation event, employees will see the status of their payment information on myGov change to ‘tax ready’.
