To recognise and celebrate our Junior Medical Staff (JMS), all employees are invited to nominate a JMS who you feel has demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and dedication in providing safe and high-quality care.
The JMS Awards are sponsored by the Senior Medical Staff Association (SMSA) and there are 12 categories in recognition of the diverse range of services that we provide, including:
- Intern of the Year
- HMO of the Year
- JMS of the Year in Sub-acute and Community Medicine
- JMS of the Year in Acute and Specialty Medicine
- JMS of the Year in Surgery and Interventional Services
- JMS of the Year in Emergency Medicine
- JMS of the Year in Critical Care (ICU and Anaesthesia)
- JMS of the Year in Mental Health
- JMS of the Year in Women’s and Newborn
- JMS of the Year in Children’s
- JMS of the Year in Diagnostic Imaging
- JMS of the Year in Pathology
All nominations will be treated anonymously and can be made by completing the nomination form here or scanning the QR code below.
Nominations close at midnight on Saturday 30 September and will be reviewed by an awards panel that will select the appropriate category for the nomination and decide the recipient.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the end of the year.
