Recent changes to our uniform recycling program

A recycling bin sits inside the Monash Medical Centre library.

Recycling your old uniforms has never been easier thanks to a recent change in our current recycling program.

Collection boxes, which were previously located at the Kingston Centre, will now be rotated between our on-site libraries every few months from September 2023 to improve ease of access.

The labelled collection boxes are currently located within the Clayton Library, and the plan is to rotate to Dandenong Library next.

Monash Health uniform garments, particularly those with Monash Health branding, can be placed directly within the collection boxes located near the Mind and Matter book collection.

Don’t forget to take the time to chat to our friendly librarians when visiting and take advantage of the wonderful services offered at our libraries. To find out more about what’s available, head to the dedicated library webpage by clicking here.

We are committed to the continued partnership of our recycling initiative with South-East Melbourne-based recycling organisation, Upparel. More information on Upparel and what happens to donated uniforms can be found by accessing their website by clicking here.
