At today’s employee forum, Chief Executive Andrew Stripp announced the STAR winner for the ‘In Pursuit of Excellence’ category. Congratulations to the Support Services team at Kingston Centre for being named winners this quarter!
Recently, Support Services employees participated in the first Service Excellence Series at Kingston Centre. Support Services partnered with the Learning and Development team to deliver the four-part Service Excellence Series to a number of Support Services employees. These sessions aim to help employees understand expected service standards and the importance of providing excellent service.
The sessions included many different activities, including brainstorming activities and an introduction to the AIDET and HEART frameworks. These frameworks are designed to help employees deal with complaints and to assist in the delivery of service to patients.
One of the key highlights was the discussion of creating ‘moments of magic’ where employees received tips on how to create moments throughout their work. It was also an excellent opportunity for employees to share the experiences they’ve had in their roles.
We always look for ways to improve the way we deliver care. Well done to the Support Services team at Kingston for continuing to strive for excellence!
If you know an individual or team who deserve recognition, you can nominate them through the STAR Portal. For more information on the STAR Program, including award categories, you can visit the Monash Health COVID-19 website.
