Allied Health Assistant, Tracy Shanal, who works in the Physiotherapy department at Monash Medical Centre is the STAR award winner this quarter in the Excellent Experiences category.
This category recognises an individual, group or team who have made a positive impact to the experience of our people, patients or consumers. This may include going above and beyond for others, displaying respect, humility and kindness.
Tracy was recognised for her commitment to her patients, with one singling out her commitment to both their physical and emotional health and for always delivering care with a smile.
The patient appreciated Tracy’s willingness to get to know them, their family, and their interests including their love of the Western Bulldogs.
The patient shared that on Grand Final Day, Tracy decorated their room with Western Bulldogs colours, alongside photos of their family. The patient appreciated the extra mile Tracy went to, to make a challenging experience more manageable and show them that she really cared.
