October is Mental Health Awareness Month and aims to drive mental health awareness and support to reduce stigma around mental ill health and to lead the way in creating mentally healthy workplaces and communities.
At Monash Health support is available to help you recognise, manage, and reflect on your emotions individually and with the support of your team every day.
This year’s theme is ‘Look after your mental health, Australia’, and focuses on having conversations about mental health and taking actions to look after your overall health and wellbeing.
There are many ways you can get involved and continue to support your health and wellbeing and the wellbeing of your colleagues and loved ones this month, and every month throughout the year.
Introduce mindful habits for your mental health
Register online for the Mental Health Australia Wellbeing Calendar. The Calendar includes a short reflection or task you can do every day throughout this month to look after your mental health and wellbeing. You’ll also have access to resources and helpful tips to continue to introduce wellbeing into your daily routine.
If you would like to download the calendar only, it can also be accessed as a PDF here.
