Exercise – Digital Wellbeing Series spotlight

Daily exercise for at least thirty minutes can improve health outcomes, increase sleep quality and makes us feel good.

Finding the time to exercise can be a challenge in our busy lives, so October’s Digital Wellbeing module invites us to find novel ways to reach our daily fitness quotas. Maybe try walking to and from work and reward yourself by listening to your favourite podcast along the way or join a group fitness class to connect with others while you workout.

Available for all our employees, the Digital Wellbeing Series by the Resilience Project includes ten 3-minute videos covering topics including mindfulness, emotional literacy, and social connection.

Each month we will put the spotlight on a different topic and share new strategies you can introduce into your daily routine to prioritise your health and mental wellbeing. This is our final series spotlight—but don’t worry, you’ll still have access to the full course. You can go back to watch any of the videos you missed, or to refresh yourself on past modules.

Access the Digital Wellbeing series

To access the Digital Wellbeing Series and to watch the video on ‘Exercise’, log in to LATTE and search ‘The Resilience Project’ under the ‘Find Learning’ tab.

To learn more about The Resilience Project, visit their website. For more information, resources and log in details for the Digital Wellbeing Series, visit the Monash Health COVID-19 employee website

You can access all 10 topics of the Digital Wellbeing Series. However, the monthly spotlights aim to help you focus on one topic at a time. To make new lasting habits, it is important to start small, add in one change at a time and to remain consistent. If you feel more comfortable, you can complete all modules in your own time.
