Congratulations to our STAR Award winner for ‘In Pursuit of Excellence, Alexis Letters-Haydock.
This category recognises an individual, group or team who have personified our intent to be relentless in the pursuit of excellence. This may include demonstrating continued improvement in their approach to work, embodying the principles of teamwork, kindness, achievement and quality, and making an outstanding contribution to the experience of our people, patients or consumers.
Alexis is a Dietitian with the Health Promotion team, supporting good nutrition and healthy eating in Monash Health and the community.
Alexis also supports dietetics students on placements with Monash Health. She accommodates their learning needs and collaborates with other supervisory staff to decide on appropriate feedback that protects student confidence and motivation while giving them aspirational standards to strive for.
Alexis’s team are full of praise for her. “Alexis’ efforts appear superhuman, and this nomination is a small recognition of her efforts as an excellent practitioner and team member.
“As a practitioner, she consistently goes above and beyond to deliver an excellent service, to support her team and students, and approaches her work with energy, a positive attitude, exceptional organisational skills, and absolute commitment to getting the best outcomes for her team and community.
